Linda’s Simple Tree Bows

by Linda Mullins on November 1, 2011

These bows are very simple yet elegant to add to your tree.

Get some 1 ½ inch wide wire edged ribbon and cut it into 1 yard lengths. My roll of ribbon made four bows. Shape the ribbon into two loops- the result will look something like an “M”.

Cross the right loop over the left loop. There will be a “hole” underneath the crossed loops.

Push the right loop back behind and up again through the hole.

Pull the loops gently into a nice bow. Trim the tails to your liking.

Of course, I’ve been tying bows for years, but they never turn out right. Now I know how to do it correctly. Thanks!
